- We provide basic financial support to students in order for them to attend school and reach their full potential.
- At the moment we cooperate with 11 public schools, both Primary and Secondary, in the Kilimanjaro area to support a total of 107 students. Even though in Tanzania we don’t have to pay school fees anymore, the children are still required to pay for Uniforms, School books, School supplies and School lunch. Yet, many families in Tanzania can’t afford even the reduced costs of education. With your help, EEF can take over these costs and make sure the children of Moshi get an education.
- Moreover, during the school breaks in June and September we offer remedial classes in english and mathematics. Besides this we offer educational trips. To make sure our students make the most of this great opportunity a sponsor gives them, we regularly plan home visits and keep in touch with the teachers to follow the students educational progress.
what it takes to sponsor a child
You can either sponsor a child in Primary school or Secondary school
Primary school
- 200 USD / year
- With this you support the child by paying all the examination fees, school supplies required by the child, uniforms, school meals, remedial classes in June and December and Educational trips for one year.
Secondary school
- 350 USD / year
- With this you support the child by paying all the examination fees, school supplies required by the child, uniforms, school meals, remedial classes in June and December and Educational trips for one year.
