EEF Empowers Students Like Cyst

Within just two years, Excel Education Fund (EEF) went from sponsoring just 16 students to an impressive 75 fully sponsored students in 2016. Among those students is Cyst Chuwa, our future Engineer. Cyst is an advanced level student at Same Secondary School where he will graduate in February 2017.

During his holidays, Cyst volunteers with EEF, mentoring younger students, teaching them mathematics and physics (his favorite subjects) as well as assisting with office work like delivering letters to schools and collecting school reports.

Sharing his gratitude for being selected to participate in EEF, Cyst said, “Without you I wouldn’t have gone to advanced school, my mom could never manage the school fees, the school supplies and transport. I don’t know what I would have been without you, I can’t thank you enough.”
